Peas And Carrots Dishcloth
The Peas And Carrots, or P & C, dishcloth pattern was my choice to celebrate and welcome spring. True story…It was early spring and I was back home in Michigan visiting family and friends. One afternoon I was out back in my sister’s garden picking beans, carrots, and mint for that night’s dinner. My sister, Nancy, is an amazing cook so I am more than willing to do the picking so as to enjoy the delicious evening meal she would prepare for all of us. I do not enjoy cooking! So I happily do the dishes to give her a rest and show my love and appreciation.
I had packed a few of my stitch dictionary books to look through, plan and design whatever pops into my pretty little head. That same evening I was enjoying thumbing through one of the books and spotted this stitch pattern that reminded me of the lovely colorful meal I had earlier. As soon as I noticed the title of that particular stitch pattern, Peas And Carrots, I knew it would be used for my next dishcloth pattern.
The next afternoon I went to my sister’s LYS, purchased the colors I needed, and got busy designing the pattern and knitting up a dishcloth. I love my color combo for sure, but seeing all the finished dishcloths completed from my pattern shows it looks amazing in lots of different color combos. I would love to see your finished dishcloths and the colors you chose. Join us on Facebook, like the page, and post away. Click here to head on over to Facebook.
