Olivia’s Striped Hat With Pompom
Olivia wanted a striped hat with a pompom to match her striped shirt.
She is definitely a girly, girl. It’s all about the outfit, the style and how cute she looks.
Looking around my shop you will notice how much I enjoy designing items for my nieces and nephews. Olivia’s favorite items are hats! She just loves hats.
Diamond’s might be a girl’s best friend? But not for Olivia, it’s all about The Hat!!
As I am sure you all are aware…My Niece Olivia has me wrapped around her little finger. The very day she mentions she wants something “knitted by Aunt Joanie” the knitting needles are working their magic.
If you take a look at the photos of Olivia’s Striped Hat with Pompom I am certain you will agree with me that I found the perfect colors for her hat. Both Olivia and I are so pleased with how this project turned out. That pompom is the icing on the cake!!!
I use a smaller needle for the top of the hat simply because it uses less yarn, this helps avoid the bulky top you can get with a ribbed hat. The hat is a bit flatter at the top and a better fit I believe.
♦As are all my knitting patterns; this pattern has been test knit twice and both professionally copy and tech edited for accuracy.
