Max’s Knitted Sweater
Max’s Knitted sweater was designed for my Grandnephew. One early autumn afternoon I received a phone call from my Niece Adrian; Max’s mommy. Adrian asked me to design a blue cardigan sweater with grey trim for Max. He has a sweater with those two design features but it is a pullover. The pullover is Max’s “Sunday Best” sweater, but it’s a struggle to get him into it. Every Sunday it’s the same story… it starts off quiet and calm but when it’s all said and done Max ends up frustrated and in tears. He really does not like having the pullover pulled over his head. What was a calm and quiet morning is “not so calm and quiet” any longer. Adrian loves Max in his pullover but doesn’t want to make him wear something that just brings on frustration.
One Sunday morning she got the answer to Max’s dilemma. Ask Aunt Joanie to design a cardigan sweater that was very similar to his pullover for Max to wear to Sunday Mass. As per Adrian’s request, I designed a blue sweater with grey trim and of course, it was a cardigan, not a pullover.
As you can see from the photos, Max is very happy with his new sweater! How many of you noticed how the blue brings out those gorgeous eyes of his? That’s the first thing I saw!
One more thing…Take a look at Max’s matching hat ~ Max’s Knitting Hat!
