Harvest Slipper Socks
I designed these fun harvest slipper socks for my husband and me. Our favorite season is autumn, so that explains one reason I chose these colors for our socks. The other reason being, these particular colors just scream “Happy”! Surprisingly, I wear mine even when it isn’t autumn.
I frequently spend evenings stretched out on the couch with a good book. I enjoy wearing outlandish, peculiar, quirky, strange socks. The only reason for that is…They make me happy! While reading I occasionally look up and my socks catch my eye…I just can’t help it…I smile. My sister, Ann Marie, once told me, “Surround yourself with the things you love”. I took that advice to heart and always don my socks in preparation of my evening read. The sole purpose of a guaranteed smile.
I received an email from a lovely lady that purchased the pattern and stated how much her son loved his new socks. She chose shades of blue for his. She also stated due to popular demand she knitted up a pair for each of her four boys, and three grandchildren. I love hearing happy stories like that.
