Fan Stitch Dishcloth
The Fan Stitch dishcloth pattern, simply put, is a gorgeous feminine stitch pattern. A lovely choice for designing not only dishcloths but shawls, cowls, scarfs and so much more.
One afternoon I received an invitation to a bridal shower for one of my good friends. The bride loves Victorian Lace and her favorite color is purple. With those two facts in mind, I got busy knitting up a few dishcloths to use as my gift topper. As you will see in the above photos the color and pattern stitch look lovely together. Needless to say, the bride loved them all.
Soon after I posted this particular pattern, a sweet lady wrote and told me she used this dishcloth pattern to knit up a long skinny scarf for her daughter. She was very happy with the result and her daughter loved her new scarf.
Materials I used:
Lily/Sugar’n Cream. Color #01317/Hot Purple – 1 skein.
Size US6 (4mm) knitting needles.
16.5sts/4″ in fan stitch pattern. Dishcloth measures 8¼″x8¼″.
♥ As are all my knitting patterns; this pattern has been test knit twice and both professionally copy and tech edited for accuracy.
I am happy to help. You can always contact me if you have any questions along the way.
