Eyelet Flame Chevron Dishcloth
The Eyelet Flame Chevron stitch pattern creates a delicate decorative fabric. This particular stitch pattern reminds me of my grandmother’s lace kitchen curtains. Oh, boy was she a girly girl! She loved all things lace and just about anything and everything pink! I know I do not have a photo of this dishcloth knitted up using pink yarn but let me tell you I have worked up my fair share.
With that, as you know, I love to knit up a few dishcloths to use as my gift toppers for bridal and baby shower gifts. The Eyelet Flame Chevron stitch pattern is always a great choice. Find out the brides wedding palette and knit up a dishcloth in each color. If you are not sure of her colors may I suggest…Pink!
As I have said, “The Eyelet Flame Chevron stitch pattern creates a delicate decorative fabric.” BUT, knit up using red yarn your dishcloth will look like it’s on fire! WOW!
Materials I used:
Reynolds/Saucy; 100% Mercerized Cotton. Color #50/Aqua – 1 skein.
Size US3 (3.25mm) knitting needles.
20sts/4″ in the eyelet and flame chevron stitch pattern.
♥ As are all my knitting patterns; this pattern has been test knit twice and both professionally copy and tech edited for accuracy.
I am happy to help. You can always contact me if you have any questions along the way.
