Double Seed Stitch Knit Hat
The Double Seed Stitch pattern without a doubt produces a lovely fabric. Because the Double Seed Stitch is so easy to knit and does produce a lovely design it works well in just about any knitted item. The examples are endless, for instance, blankets, hats, scarfs, gloves, mittens, sweaters and yes even socks or slippers. I know what you are saying; “Okay Joan, I get it. You LOVE the Double Seed Stitch.” Now, with that being said, the “Seed Stitch” is undeniably as fabulous!

All yarn shops carry fabulous yarn, right? I know mine does anyway; so off to the shop I went. Yarn should have defining qualities, such as fabulous, gorgeous, elegant and scream “You know you love me, you want to buy me, you want to knit me and as my younger nieces would say…’ you want to marry me’. And of course, the yarn must be RED! Any shade would do. Ann Marie is not really all that particular in her reds; she loves them all ~ As I do greens!
And, it’s time to make this very long story even shorter. The yarn was bought. And with Ann Marie’s hat (and cowl) complete, my Niece Faith started her “camera” magic. After a couple of hours, Faith said, “I’m in love with this hat and cowl Aunt Joanie. It’s so soft and fits me perfectly. How did you know this was my favorite shade of red? I LOVE it! I will wear it every day!”
Well, there was no way I was going to break her heart and tell her it wasn’t for her. After all, she is a great photographer and is always there when I need her. Summing up, the hat and cowl now belong to Faith.
Therefore, I immediately purchased more yarn and knitted up Ann a matching hat and cowl…Just like “Faith’s”. ♥To conclude, Faith has absolutely no idea about this, so please don’t tell her and I hope she never reads this.
