Chevron Scarf
I designed Chevron Scarf for my Nephew Eric. He lives in the bitter cold of Michigan (well, bitter cold during those long winter nights anyway). He works in a lab and needs to be at work, ready to use his microscope, very early in the morning. Eric asked if I would design a scarf to help keep him warm. He stands 6’6″ and his favorite color is grey. His only requests were…a very long scarf, wider than average and ‘It has to be grey’. The completed Chevron Scarf measures 10″(25cm) x 97″(246cm), but your scarf can be any width and length you choose.
Knitting instructions include both written and chart form. Along with the written word, a chart for each separate pattern stitch is provided. If that isn’t fabulous enough…I gave each chart it’s own page so all you need do is print off the individual pattern stitch you are knitting from. I ROCK, right?
Link to video tutorial demonstrating, M1R, the increase used for this pattern is also included. The stitch repeat is also provided for each separate pattern stitch.

The number of different scarfs that can be created using the Chevron Scarf pattern is endless. Choose a solid or variegated yarn, smaller or larger size needles, choose 1, 2, 3 or all four different stitch patterns to create just to name a few. Using the Chevron Scarf pattern you can make your scarf as narrow, wide, short or long as you like.
Seriously…
If you only had the Chevron Scarf pattern to work with, you would be able to design a different scarf for every member of your family, friend, co-worker and/or neighbor! No one would be the wiser that you had simply recreated each scarf using one pattern. Go wild!
