How the Caesar Dishcloth Pattern was born…Wanting to shake things up a bit I decided to combine two stitch patterns into one dishcloth. I was looking through one of my zillion knitting pattern books and spotted a couple of simple stitch patterns I thought might look nice together. Keeping both Caesar dishcloth pattern stitches very basic, I wanted to show the beginning knitter how simple it is to incorporate different stitch patterns into one piece. Some will turn out fabulous and others; not so much! But give it a go anyway!
You can create many different dishcloths with the Caesar dishcloth pattern. Knit it as is, change, add, subtract, or choose to use just one of the stitch patterns. Shake things up a bit and let’s see what we can create together. I am here to help if you find yourself in need. Cool right?
Materials I used for this dishcloth pattern:
Lily/Sugar’n Cream. Color – #01318/Black Currant – 1 skein.
Size US6 (4mm) knitting needles.
17sts/4″ in each of the stitch patterns.
♥Once again, because I ROCK, the pattern includes the stitch pattern repeat.
♥As are all my knitting patterns; this pattern has been test knit twice and both professionally copy and tech edited for accuracy. I am happy to help. You can always contact me if you have any questions along the way.
