Baby Blanket Lullaby
Baby Blanket ~ Lullaby is worked using a beloved knitting technique; Slip Stitch. Not only can the Slip Stitch create lovely stitch patterns, but it’s also super easy to work. Just a hint here…You are working with only one color per row. Are you a novice knitter and really, really want to work something up using more than one color, but fear that next step? The slip stitch just may be your ticket out of the “One Color Club”. After all, you got this one color thing down pretty darn good, why rock the boat? Right?
Name That ‘Slip Stitch’ Pattern
The story of Baby Blanket ~ Lullaby came about by way of another “Name That Pattern” on Facebook. From time to time I need a little help thinking of a name for a pattern. So…I go to the professionals; my Facebook group. I upload a photo of the design and knitters post their ideas of a name for that particular pattern. After about 24 – 48 hours I choose the name that I just can’t live without. 🙂 The winner is announced and he or she receives the pattern for free. Everyone else is considered “Runners Up” and receive a discount code meant just for them. The discount code is only good for that particular pattern and must be used during the next 24 hours. It’s fun to participate but you have to act fast! Join us on Facebook, you just might be the next winner of “Name That Pattern”.
