Baby Blanket ~ Baby Steps
To celebrate the 2019 springtime births I designed my latest baby blanket using a cotton blend in a few bright colors. Baby Steps is worked using a combo of knit and purl stitches. Choose the colors that match the nursery, mommy’s favorite baby colors or yours and just have fun working up this adorable yet simple stitch pattern.
The story of Baby Blanket ~ Baby Steps came about by way of another “Give That Pattern A Name” game. I just couldn’t decide on a fun name for the blanket. So, of course, I thought of my fabulous LOK VIPs. While reading 100s of fun names for the baby blanket I kept thinking, “LOK VIPs sure have creative minds.” All the submissions would have made really cute names, but I had to narrow it down to one. For this round, our winner was Anita with “Baby Steps”!
