Arrow Stripe Dishcloth
The Arrow Stripe dishcloth pattern started out to be a stitch gauge for a pair of fingerless gloves I was designing. A short story on how that came to be ~ One afternoon a fellow knitter and I were looking through stitch pattern books at our local yarn shop (LYS). While admiring this particular stitch pattern, Arrow Stripe, she asked me to design a pair of fingerless gloves with the arrow stripe design running across the back of her hands. “Of course”, I replied.

A few days later while knitting up the stitch gauge during Open Knitting at my LYS someone asked if it was going to be my next dishcloth pattern design. “Mmmm, maybe” was my reply. So I went ahead and created the Arrow Stripe dishcloth pattern after completing my friend’s fingerless gloves. I am super sorry to say, never did write up the pattern for the fingerless gloves. Not sure if it was a time crunch thing or I just forgot. I think I should add that to my “Pattern Ideas” notepad. What do you think?
Would you like to see this dishcloth pattern transformed into a pair of fingerless gloves?
